Motorized turning module of SprutCAM allows programming of turning with driven tools and lathes (Swiss turn). The interface is simple and you can also program the typical turning: roughing, finishing, gola, threading, drilling etc.
The motorized turning operations consist in the processing of a part on a turning Centre where it is possible, without removing the piece from the machine tool, run both turning it.
Control of all axes of the machine tool
Sprutcam allows you to create NC programs for all turning centres, without limitation on the number of axes and on the type of machine tools such as lathes, Turret Lathes, multi-B-axis lathe with Chuck and counter spindle, bezel, bar feeders, and various equipment.
Turning operations
Sprutcam offers a wide range of strategies for turning, boring and drilling including: roughing, finishing cycles cycles, cycles of grooves, cylindrical and conical threading, cycles of drilling machining cycles, using the tools of leading manufacturers or form tools designed by the user. In order to achieve optimal machining parts with the B-axis, the user is given a convenient mechanism to control the angle of inclination relative to the surface of the part.
Milling operations
We support all kinds of rough and finish used in conventional milling.
Sprutcam allows you to create NC programs using the C axis and the Y axis of the machine to mill, both on the main spindle and on back spindle. If the machine is equipped with the B-axis of the milling can be so placed, or milling in 5 continuous axes using all machine axes simultaneously.
When the machine has the y-axis SprutCAM allows you to create the NC program in polar coordinates; Also if the machine incorporates functions for recalculating from Cartesian to polar coordinates SprutCAM includes all necessary commands within the NC program.
In order to perform the milling on a cylindrical surface with a continuous movement along the C axis, you can use the cylindrical coordinate system.
Auxiliary operations
The modern CNC machines have different procedures for the control of the various components of the machine, such as, the cut of the part and the transfer from one to the other, the boring spindle along the piece held by both spindles, use of the bezel, the tailstock, arm bar feeder, get piece and the charger. Each machine has its own rule for the control of all components. Sprutcam allows management, through the auxiliary operations, control of any components present on the machine. These operations can be stored and included in a list for future use. Between the various operations include: taking part, the counter spindle back and cutting, the locking piece with the bezel, the locking piece with tailstock, unloading automatic piece with the arm and workpiece loader. All parameters must be set in these operations are defined automatically when generating the NC program in SprutCAM.
Machining Simulation
The machining simulation in the process of creating the NC program allows you to accurately control all movements of the mechanisms of the machine, taking into account the size of all the utensils are placed in the towers, in order to avoid collisions. In addition to viewing the simulation working displays all movements of the components that perform auxiliary operations created by the user, such as taking the piece from a spindle, counter spindle that comes along and cutting, the portion that is blocked by the bezel.
The system of machining simulation tool automatic collision checks against all elements of the machine, as well as checks of collisions between the components of the machine.
